The Association is made up of 7 Board of Director headed committees which help steer the associations programs and services:
Board of Directors
The board of directors led by the president of the association, is made up of representatives from all across the country who take into consideration the interests of the diverse range of Canadian Charolais breeders when making decisions to guide the association.

Breed Improvement Committee
The Breed improvement committee, which is chaired by a member of the board of directors and made up of a combination of board members and breeders from across the country, is responsible for providing direction to the associations many programs to assist breeders in improving the genetic merit of their herds.
Some of these programs include the Charolais Herd and Record Management system (CHARM), Whole Herd Enrolment (WHE), the Conception to Consumer Program (C to C), and the total genetic evaluation system (TGE).

Education Youth and Export

Canadian Charolais Youth Association
The objective of the CCYA are to develop and strengthen youth involvement in the breeding, raising, and promotion of Charolais cattle, as well as to unite youth from across Canada. The import and export business within the Canadian Charolais Association is integral to the success of the organization. The members of this committee assist all association members across Canada to increase their herd size and trade livestock with several other Countries in the world. The Education Youth and Export committee focuses on teaching CCA members about the growth, and development of the Charolais brand in the industry.

Market Development
The Market Development committee is made of a number of board members and breeders from across the country. The primary responsibility of the Market Development Committee is to increase brand awareness throughout the world. To ensure that there are breeds being developed and sustained. Market Development increases the amount of herds through innovative sales and services programs to encourage breeders to become active members in the Canadian Charolais Association. The existence of the Market Development Committee is very important as they are responsible for ensuring that all areas of the Country, (Provinces and Regions) are represented in the Canadian Charolais Association.

Public Relations
Communication is key in all business ventures. The Canadian Charolais association depends on the ingenuity and experience of the Public Relations committee to ensure that the world knows the latest news from the CCA. The Public Relations Committee is responsible for drafting news and media statements, communications to other venders and service providers and finally to the membership.

Finance (Executive Committee)
The finance committee is made up of the executive for the Canadian Charolais Association. The executive committee is responsible for all financial matters pertaining to the success of the CCA. They are leaders to Accountants, Data Entry Clerks, Registry Managers to name a few. They process all financial transactions to ensure that the CCA is following all National and Provincial regulations for an independent organization.
