Breed Improvement Committee

The Breed improvement committee, which is chaired by a member of the board of directors and made up of a combination of board members and breeders from across the country, is responsible for providing direction to the associations many programs to assist breeders in improving the genetic merit of their herds.

Some of these programs include the Charolais Herd and Record Management system (CHARM), Whole Herd Enrolment (WHE), the Conception to Consumer Program (C to C), and the total genetic evaluation system (TGE). For more information on breed improvement, please click here.
